Michael and Nancy Jackson proprietors of BeDillon’s Restaurant and The Property Conference Center began removing plastic straws from their locations this summer and shortly after reached out to other local businesses.
Participation and support from other establishments are growing. With many committing to using the remainder of their plastic supplies and preparing to make the transition as well. Most will offer an alternative option for customers who require straws.
Area locations who have removed or are preparing to remove plastic straws:
The Property Conference Center
McMasher's Sports Bar & Grill
Eva's Fine Mexican Food
Big House Cafe
AND the list is growing!!!
For more information or to join the movement, contact Michael at BeDillon’s

There are many items that take up space in landfills and litter our communities. Businesses are not the only ones who can do more; by choosing not to use plastic straws or making and effort to properly disposing of items, we too can make a difference.
Please continue doing your part to keep our desert beautiful!
